New nasal spray trial aims to slow debilitating MS progression

NCT ID NCT06292923

Summary

This study is testing whether a new nasal spray called foralumab can slow the progression of disability in people with a specific form of multiple sclerosis (MS) that has stopped having active flare-ups. It will involve 54 patients who will use either a low dose, a high dose, or a placebo spray for three months. The main goals are to check the treatment's safety and see if it reduces brain inflammation, which is thought to drive the disease.
