Nasal drops show promise for restoring vision in Brain-Injured children
NCT ID NCT07492966
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether giving exosomes through the nose could help improve vision in 32 children with cortical visual impairment (CVI), a vision problem caused by brain injury. The children received the treatment once a month for six months and were monitored for changes in visual function. The goal was to see if this therapy, combined with standard vision rehabilitation, could improve functional vision more than rehabilitation alone.
