New balloon treatment tested for stubborn sinus problems
NCT ID NCT05883462
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new device for people with recurring chronic sinusitis. A small, drug-coated balloon is inflated in the nose to open blocked passages and deliver medicine directly to the inflamed tissue. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and if it helps keep sinus passages open longer than current treatments alone.
