New nasal procedure offers hope for stuffy nose sufferers

Summary

This study tests if a more extensive radiofrequency ablation of the nasal turbinates works better than the standard limited procedure for people with chronic rhinitis. 60 adults who still have symptoms after at least 6 months of medication will be randomly assigned to receive either the extended or standard treatment. The goal is to see which method better relieves nasal blockage and runny nose.
