First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a headband worn at home (Dreem 3S) can help diagnose and monitor narcolepsy, a condition causing extreme daytime sleepiness. 78 adults with sleep disorders used the device over multiple nights. The goal was to see if the headband's sleep staging matched standard lab tests, potentially making diagnosis easier and more convenient.
