New hope for kids with tough-to-treat nerve cancer: three-drug combo tested

NCT ID NCT07261241

First seen Dec 04, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests three different combinations of a radioactive drug (131I-MIBG) with other medicines (vorinostat and/or dinutuximab) in children and young adults with neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. About 118 participants will be randomly assigned to one of three treatment arms and receive one course of therapy, with an option for a second course if they are healthy enough. The goal is to find which combination shrinks tumors best and to check for side effects.
