NCT ID NCT07269873
First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a new implant (BICX104) that slowly releases naltrexone over 3 months. It involves 30 healthy adults to check safety and how the drug moves in the body, comparing it to a standard monthly shot (Vivitrol). Some groups also take bupropion pills. The goal is to gather data, not to treat any condition.
