First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study checked if injecting naloxone into the forearm works as well as the standard buttock injection. Twelve healthy adults aged 18-55 received the drug in both places to compare how the body absorbs it. The goal was to see if the forearm could be a good alternative for emergency use. No treatment or cure was tested.
