New hope for kids on painkillers: constipation drug under study

Summary
This study tests a drug called naldemedine in children (up to age 18) who are taking or about to take opioids for pain. The drug aims to relieve constipation caused by opioids. Researchers will check how the drug moves through the body and if it is safe. About 24 children will take part.
