Summary
This study tested whether adding nalbuphine to a standard spinal anesthetic (levobupivacaine) reduces pain and the need for morphine after total hip replacement. 60 adults were randomly assigned to receive either the standard anesthetic alone or with nalbuphine. Researchers measured morphine use, pain scores, and side effects for 48 hours after surgery.
