New cream may ease nail psoriasis symptoms

Summary
This study tests a cream called PROXERA PSOMED 30, which contains 30% urea, to see if it improves nail psoriasis better than Vaseline. About 21 adults with nail psoriasis will apply the cream to one nail and Vaseline to another nail twice daily for 24 weeks. Doctors will measure changes in nail appearance and check for side effects.
