First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) can reduce harmful inflammation in women with mild-to-moderate lupus. About 78 women will receive either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in immune cell activity and blood vessel health to see if the supplement helps control the disease.
