New cream fights eczema and skin bacteria
NCT ID NCT07323719
Summary
This study tested whether adding N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) to a standard moisturizing cream could help people with mild to moderate eczema. One hundred participants were randomly assigned to use either the NAC cream or the standard cream alone. Researchers measured changes in skin bacteria and eczema symptoms to see if the NAC cream was more effective.
