New pill could help women regrow thinning hair

Summary
This study is testing whether an oral medication called N1087 can help women with female pattern hair loss grow thicker, denser hair. About 372 women in Brazil will take either the real pill or a placebo (sugar pill) daily for 24 weeks. Doctors will measure changes in hair density and thickness on the scalp and monitor for any side effects.
