Heart valve breakthrough? new study tests minimally invasive option against pills

Summary
This study compares a new, less invasive heart valve replacement (Myval THV) to standard medication in 778 people aged 65+ with moderate aortic stenosis, a condition where the heart's main valve narrows. The goal is to see if the valve procedure reduces death, stroke, or heart failure hospitalizations better than medication alone. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the valve procedure or medication, and followed for at least 2 years.
