Summary

This study tested whether a custom oral appliance with a mouth shield (myTAP OA+) could improve gum health in 43 adults who mouth-breathe, snore, and have mild to moderate gum disease. Participants used the device for 12 weeks along with standard gum care. Researchers measured changes in gum condition, breathing, sleep quality, and mouth bacteria.
