New Once-Daily muscle stiffness pill tested against standard treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether a new once-daily version of the drug mexiletine works as well and is as safe as the standard three-times-daily version for people with rare muscle stiffness disorders called non-dystrophic myotonias. Twenty-four participants will try both versions for 12 weeks each to see which one better relieves symptoms like delayed muscle relaxation and stiffness. The main goal is to compare side effects and heart safety between the two dosing schedules.
