Robotic 'Muscle Suit' aims to get spinal injury patients back on their feet

NCT ID NCT05605912

Summary

This study tested whether a lightweight, wearable robotic suit called the Myosuit could help people with incomplete spinal cord injury walk more in their daily lives. Thirty-four participants with some leg movement used the suit at home for six weeks to see if it increased their walking time and improved their walking speed. Researchers compared results to a group receiving standard physical therapy to measure the suit's effectiveness and ease of use.
