Robotic arm brace gives new hope to stroke patients

Summary
This study tests whether a wearable robotic arm brace (MyoPro) combined with movement training can help people who had a stroke more than 6 months ago and have severe arm weakness. The brace reads muscle signals to assist arm movement. About 60 adults aged 18-89 will be randomly assigned to get either therapy with the brace or therapy alone. The goal is to see if the brace improves arm function and quality of life.
