Can software predict your new eyesight after laser surgery?
NCT ID NCT06996353
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study checks if a computer program called EpiMaster can accurately predict how well people see after a specific type of laser eye surgery (PTK-PRK) for nearsightedness. Researchers will collect data from 150 patients before and six months after surgery to compare the predicted vision with the actual results. The goal is to improve future predictions, not to test a new treatment.
