Clear glasses aim to stop Kids' eyesight from worsening
NCT ID NCT06860737
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing a new type of clear spectacle lens can prevent or delay the start of nearsightedness in children who are at risk. It involves 388 children in China, aged 6 to 9, who will wear the special glasses for at least 8 hours a day for a year. Researchers will compare how many children develop nearsightedness in the group wearing the glasses versus a group that does not wear them.
