Can eyedrops or special glasses stop Kids' eyesight from worsening?

NCT ID NCT07095894

Summary

This study aims to see if two different treatments can slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. Researchers will compare nightly low-dose atropine eyedrops to placebo drops, and special spectacle lenses to regular glasses, in children aged 5 to under 12. The goal is to find safe and effective ways to control how quickly a child's nearsightedness gets worse over two years.
