First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining low-dose atropine eye drops with ear acupoint stimulation can safely slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. About 420 kids aged 6-12 will receive one of several treatments or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to find a safer alternative to higher-dose atropine, which can harm the cornea.
