Can new glasses stop Kids' eyesight from getting worse?

NCT ID NCT06563700

Summary

This study is testing whether new types of spectacle lenses can slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children compared to regular single-vision glasses. About 300 children aged 7-13 with worsening nearsightedness will wear either the test lenses or regular glasses for one year, then all children will try the test lenses for a second year. Researchers will measure changes in the children's eye prescriptions and eye length to see which lenses work best.
