Can new contact lenses stop Kids' eyesight from getting worse?

NCT ID NCT05159765

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of multifocal contact lens can slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. About 144 kids aged 7 to 13 will wear either the test multifocal lenses or regular single-vision lenses for three years. Researchers will measure changes in their eye prescription and the length of their eyes to see which lens works better at controlling myopia.
