First seen May 05, 2026 ยท Last updated May 05, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of eyeglass lens can slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. About 266 kids aged 6 to 10 will wear the special lenses or regular ones for 3 years. Researchers will measure changes in eye length and prescription strength to see if the lenses work safely.
