New glasses lens could slow worsening eyesight in kids

Summary
This study tests a new type of glasses lens designed to slow down worsening nearsightedness (myopia) in children ages 6 to 8. About 150 kids will wear either the new lens or a standard one for 12 months to see if it helps control how fast their eyesight changes. The goal is to reduce the need for stronger glasses over time.
