New glasses aim to halt Kids' worsening eyesight
NCT ID NCT06927388
Summary
This study is testing whether new eyeglass lens designs can slow the progression of nearsightedness in children better than a currently available lens. 180 Chinese children aged 6-12 with mild to moderate nearsightedness will wear one of three different spectacle lens types full-time for a year. Researchers will measure changes in their eyesight and eye length to see which design works best at controlling the condition.
