Summary
This study tested whether a new type of monthly silicone hydrogel contact lens is as safe and effective as existing monthly lenses for correcting nearsightedness. Researchers compared the two lens types in 134 adults who already wore contact lenses. The main goal was to see if both types provided equally clear vision.
