Can a simple massage technique boost pilates for back pain relief?

NCT ID NCT07551323

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a hands-on muscle release technique (myofascial release) to Pilates exercises helps adults with long-term low back pain more than Pilates alone. About 30 people aged 18-45 with pain lasting at least 3 months will take part in 6 weeks of treatment. Researchers will measure pain, movement, and muscle changes using ultrasound.
