NCT ID NCT05295290

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study follows 319 young people under 21 who developed myocarditis or pericarditis (heart inflammation) within 21 days of receiving the Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine. Researchers will track their heart health for up to 5 years using imaging and tests to understand long-term effects and compare risks with COVID-19 itself. The goal is to gather safety data, not to test a new treatment.
