First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of helping extremely premature babies (born at 25-28 weeks) breathe right after birth. One method uses a standard manual device, the other uses a ventilator. The goal is to see if the ventilator reduces serious health problems or death. About 780 babies will take part across multiple hospitals.
