First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a musical-moving toy can reduce fear and help IV insertion go more smoothly in children aged 4 to 6 who have hard-to-find veins. About 70 kids will be randomly assigned to either get the toy during the procedure or receive standard care. Researchers will measure fear levels, how many attempts are needed, and how long the procedure takes.
