Music may soothe stitch pain in emergency rooms

Summary
This study tested whether listening to music through a special app (Music Care) could reduce pain when getting stitches in the emergency room. 171 adults with wounds that needed at least one stitch took part. The goal was to see if music therapy helps lower the worst pain felt during the procedure.
