Can music soothe the storms of severe dementia? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06605157
Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a structured music therapy program can help people with severe dementia feel more engaged and show fewer difficult behaviors. Researchers will compare group music sessions (with singing and instruments) to group reading sessions over 12 weeks. The main goals are to test if a larger future study is possible and to find the best ways to measure changes in behavior and speech.
