Summary

This study tests a music therapy program called AMUSED for older adults with severe dementia living in care facilities. Participants will join small group sessions twice a week for 12 weeks, either singing and playing instruments or reading and discussing stories. Researchers want to see if music therapy improves behavior, engagement, and speech compared to reading activities.
