Parent's voice as medicine: music therapy tested for tiny babies
NCT ID NCT07295106
Summary
This small pilot study is testing if playing a recording of a parent's voice or singing can help stabilize premature babies in the intensive care unit. Researchers will measure the baby's vital signs and brain oxygen levels during the therapy and compare it to a quiet rest period. They will also check if this approach helps reduce stress for the parents.
