Summary

This study tested if adding structured music activities, like playing harmonica and drums, to regular occupational therapy could better help children with ADHD improve their attention and thinking skills. Thirty-nine children aged 6 to 17 were split into two groups: one received the music-based therapy, and the other received standard therapy for six weeks. While both groups improved, the children who did music activities showed greater gains in their ability to pay attention.
