Simple tools tested to make smear tests less stressful
NCT ID NCT07276607
Summary
This study tested whether simple, non-drug methods could help women feel less anxious and experience less pain during routine Pap smear tests. Researchers compared the effects of listening to calming Nada Yoga music, using a stress ball, using both, or receiving standard care in 128 women. The goal was to find easy ways to improve comfort during this important health screening.
