Deeper cochlear implant stimulation may improve music enjoyment

Summary
This study looks at whether stimulating deeper parts of the cochlea with a MED-EL implant helps people with hearing loss perceive music better. About 32 adults who already qualify for a cochlear implant will take part. Researchers will compare sound quality and music perception with standard versus deeper stimulation settings.
