First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether listening to personally and culturally relevant music can help reduce pain and anxiety during dental procedures. Thirty adults chose a relaxing music sequence and had their heart rate, blood pressure, and pain levels measured during drilling with and without music. The goal was to see if music can be a simple, drug-free way to ease dental discomfort.
