First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at whether listening to Turkish classical music or music chosen by the patient can help reduce anxiety during orthodontic bracket placement. Forty-eight teenagers between 12 and 18 years old took part. They either listened to Turkish classical music, their own chosen music, or had silence during the procedure. Researchers measured anxiety using questionnaires and physical signs like heart rate and blood pressure.
