Summary

This study tested whether playing music during liver donation surgery can lower the body's stress and inflammation response. 61 healthy adults donating part of their liver were randomly assigned to listen to music or not during the operation. Researchers measured inflammatory markers in the blood before and after surgery to see if music made a difference.
