Calming tunes vs. deep breaths: the battle to soothe Stressed-Out nursing students
NCT ID NCT07425847
Summary
This study aimed to see if listening to calming music or practicing a specific breathing technique could help reduce anxiety in first-year nursing students learning how to give IV drugs. Researchers tested 97 students, dividing them into groups that either listened to music, did breathing exercises, or received no special intervention during their training. They measured anxiety levels before and after the training sessions to compare which method worked better.
