NCT ID NCT07407777
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This 30-day study tests whether a daily drink made from fermented oyster mushroom mycelium and microalgae can reduce minor stomach discomfort and improve mood in 80 healthy adults. Participants will take the powder once a day and report their symptoms and mood at the start, middle, and end of the trial. The goal is to see if this natural food ingredient can support digestive well-being and emotional health.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
A food ingredient made from co-fermented oyster mushroom mycelium and microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris) with bamboo fiber
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a natural, food-based option to help people with mild stomach discomfort feel better and possibly improve their mood.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with no placebo group, so results may be influenced by expectation. It only looks at short-term effects in generally healthy people, not those with serious digestive conditions.
