Scientists scan muscles to unlock secrets of cerebral palsy movement
NCT ID NCT07118228
Summary
This study aims to understand how the physical structure of muscles relates to movement abilities in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Researchers will use ultrasound imaging to examine muscle thickness, stiffness, and blood flow in 36 children aged 4-18 years. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help guide future personalized rehabilitation approaches, but this study itself does not test any treatments.
