New scanner peeks inside muscles during workouts

NCT ID NCT07347535

Summary

This study aims to understand how muscles get oxygen during exercise by comparing athletes, healthy people, and patients with poor leg circulation (PAD). Researchers will use a new, non-invasive imaging scanner on the calf muscle while participants walk on a treadmill. The goal is to see if this new scanner provides useful information compared to standard breathing tests.
