Summary
This study looks at how gender-affirming hormone therapy changes muscle function and energy use in transgender and gender-diverse adults. Researchers will measure muscle metabolism and physical fitness in 24 people who have been on hormone therapy for at least 10 months. The goal is to understand the body's response to hormones, not to test a new treatment.
