Scientists track hidden muscle loss in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07387770
Summary
This study aims to understand how and why muscles weaken in cancer patients during a hospital stay. Researchers will measure strength, body composition, and fatigue in about 40-50 hospitalized patients using questionnaires, grip tests, body scans, and muscle activity monitors. The goal is to find better ways to spot early signs of muscle loss to help guide future treatments.
