Muscle loss may predict cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07192926
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if muscle loss and inflammation levels can help predict how well lung cancer patients respond to immunotherapy. Researchers analyzed data from 115 adults with advanced lung cancer who received immunotherapy treatment. They measured muscle mass from CT scans and calculated an inflammation score from blood tests to see if these factors were linked to treatment outcomes.
